My name is Patrick Carl and I am a UX designer. I believe empathy and user-centered research/synthesis are integral to the creation of good, unobtrusive design.

From a young age, I have been invested in stories and their ability to articulate and communicate one’s point of view. Through user-centered design, I am interested in bridging the gap between listener and storyteller through language that is verbal and visual, empathetic and pragmatic. In this way, I hope to connect these two, often distinct roles through user research and design principles.
