Push Agency is a prominent promotional modeling and event staffing company that operates on a national scale.
They specialize in providing talent for various promotional events, brand activations, and marketing campaigns. They needed to streamline their operations by reducing the workload on booking agents while maintaining a high-quality experience for talent. The existing system required significant agent effort for talent onboarding, event applications, compensation management, and information distribution. They needed a solution that would automate and simplify these processes without compromising the quality of service or talent experience.

The design process emphasized maintaining brand consistency while developing thoughtful, specific UI components.
I began by defining detailed personas for various user types, including brand ambassadors, models, influencers, event managers, and temporary staff. I then mapped out comprehensive user stories to understand specific needs and pain points for each group. The solution would focus on creating a mobile app experience that could both actively recruit new talent (PUSH) and serve as a centralized platform for existing talent to manage their events, payments, and profiles.

The final design delivered a streamlined platform with distinct features tailored to talent needs.
The app included a straightforward onboarding process, an intuitive dashboard for viewing opportunities and action items, and comprehensive tools for managing assignments and profiles. Talent could easily filter and search opportunities, apply for assignments through videos and surveys, complete post-event recaps, and manage their professional profiles with photos, videos, and experience details. This centralized system would significantly reduce booking agent workload while empowering talent with self-service tools and improved access to information.

For the look and feel of the app, I wanted to remain faithful to the look and feel of the company's existing brand. It's within these guidelines that new and specific user interface options were created.

When comparing the visual styles and user interface options, it was important to keep the brand's striking orange as the accent color. It was also preferred that the components and interface highlighted the specific user's profile in order to have the app be something that the talent would constantly return to and reference. These decisions were established in the component library and design system that guided the rest of the design.
